Eirene New York started with something simple. I couldn’t find a bag that actually worked for my life.

Living in New York, I’m always out the door. I needed something functional but still elevated, something that could work with any outfit and make even a t-shirt and jeans feel more put together.

But I kept running into the same problems.
Bags that looked good but didn’t have enough pockets.
Bags without zippers, until it rained and suddenly everything inside mattered. I can’t count how many times I left the office, only for it to start raining, with my laptop exposed inside my bag.
Even small things, like getting on the subway and needing my phone ready to tap, made me realize how important it was to have a front pocket so I didn’t have to dig through my bag.

It was always small things, but they added up.

At the same time, I didn’t want something that felt like a traditional work bag. I wanted it to feel refined, effortless, and something you would actually be excited to carry. A bag that sits cleanly on a table, pulls a look together without trying too hard, and makes getting ready in the morning feel just a little better.

When I couldn’t find that, I decided to create it.

I didn’t study fashion or go to design school. I just knew what I was looking for and was willing to figure it out. Building Eirene has been a process of learning everything from scratch through trial, mistakes, and persistence.

There were countless samples, constant adjustments, and a lot of back and forth to get every detail right.

But when we finally had the finished product, it was so rewarding, and I was excited for even one person to carry it.

Eirene New York is built on that idea. Creating pieces that are thoughtful, functional, and quietly elevated. Nothing unnecessary, just what you actually need, done well.
