Beautiful bag, however the zipper needs to be worked on. I don't know if I receive a defective product but my zipper stopped working barely a week of using this bag.

This bag morphs from a large handbag to a perfect commuter work tote. Holds my 14in laptop, but it could easily hold a 15in. I don't know about a 17in. It fits my journal, planner, and all my other daily essentials - lunch, water bottle, and makeup bag. Very organized, and the look is so sophisticated and deceptively roomy. Loved the brown, and the feel of the leather so much I ordered the black. I will say the only downside is when fully loaded it can be a bit heavy, so just be aware of that. Otherwise very happy with my purchases.

It's really beautiful and well designed, but it's (understandably) heavy and the shoulder straps may be too short if you have long arms. I'm 5'9 and it takes some wiggling to get the bag onto my shoulder securely.

I actually originally ordered a dark brown tote and received a black tote, and I got the bag in good time. I didn’t anticipate receiving the wrong color. I had the intention to send it back but it was too much of a hassle - so I kept the black bag and I’m starting to find my groove with it and I like it a lot.

I love this bag. It has great structure and the color is beautiful. Very well designed. It is a little difficult to open because of the stiffness in the leather, but that has already become easier after a week of use. The one thing I would change is making the key clip longer. It is very difficult to get my keys on and off of that clip because of the angle and placement. If they were on a longer tether, this would not be an issue.
