Making of the Fiora Tote
Building the Fiora Tote was a process of trial and error in creating the perfect everyday bag, where every choice was made with intention. We began by working on the sketches to translate the design into a structure that could hold its shape while remaining soft to the touch. Each panel is carefully cut from 100% top-grain leather, then aligned and stitched to ensure durability without compromising the clean lines of the silhouette. Reinforced, thick handles are constructed to support daily use, while the interior is thoughtfully assembled to balance organization with openness. From the first cut to the final stitch, the focus remained on creating a tote that feels considered in every detail and built to last beyond seasons.
FOUNDER STORY
I’m Gauri, founder of Eirene New York, launched in 2025 to create bags that are both functional and effortlessly elevated. Living in New York, I struggled to find a bag that balanced style with practical details like pockets, zippers, and easy access for everyday moments, so I decided to create my own. Without a background in fashion, I built Eirene through trial, error, and persistence, refining every detail along the way. The result is a collection rooted in thoughtful design, with pieces that are simple, refined, and made to truly work for your life.
